DIGIBOOSTER FOR HELLA ACTUATOR 6NW 008 412
This is our Digibooster SE for Hella actuator 6NW 008 412 commonly found on the turbos of many BMWs, Mercedes. Ford, Kia, Jag X-Type, Audis, Peugeot/Citroen/Landrover/Jaguar 2.7v6 etc.
We kept the price affordable so its little more than a DGBS + boost control valve for a vacuum actuator.
Just plugs straight into the actuator, no extra wiring to do other than for any Digiboosters and of course no vacuum plumbing or boost control valve needed.
Heavy duty alloy housing and optional 4bar map sensor. The photo shows the base to which the pcbs are attached, slid out to access the controls after end panel removal.
By using the main DGBS pcb, the same features are available including:
- 16 settings
- Map signal limiter (switchable)
- Fine boost adjuster
- Tps input with switchable overboost mode
- Tps adjuster
- Selectable 2.5 or 4 bar map sensor.
The electronic interface pcb can be seen piggy backed onto the DGBS pcb in the photo.
There are just 3 or 4 connections: Oem plug for the Hella actuator, with power cable direct to the battery, map sensor cable which also powers the electronics, and optional tps connection.
Here is a link to our brief demo of the Digibooster-S controlling a Hella 6NW 008 412 electronic actuator as mentioned above. The test is to show the full range of control in response to a variable
voltage to the DGBS, with 16 positions available from min to max.
The electronics within the actuator prevent over travel causing a problem (actuator jamming) by ignoring requests for illegal positions at either end of the travel.

PLEASE NOTE: The 6NW 008 412 electronic part of the actuator is fitted to different gearboxes depending on the make & model of vehicle and turbo so if swapping actuators, you may
need to keep your gearbox and fit it to the 008 412 actuator. Alternatively, a new mounting bracket for the actuator may be required. If possible, we recommend
sending us your actuator so we can test & calibrate it with the DGBSE.
